“Vitalios Khionidis is one of the volunteers of the NGO “In the name of Freedom””
By the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, on December 2, 2025, a pardon was granted to Vitalios Khionidis, an inmate of the “Armavir” penitentiary institution. He had been sentenced to 6 years and 6 months of imprisonment and had been in custody since August 31, 2021.
Vitalios Khionidis is one of the volunteers of the NGO “In the name of Freedom” and participated in all events organized by us at the “Armavir” Penitentiary. He was a member of the penitentiary’s theater group and, within the framework of the “Education is Fashionable” movement, delivered a talk on “Integration of Artificial Intelligence” in various penitentiary institutions. It is also important to acknowledge the work of the staff of the “Armavir” Penitentiary, whose efforts contributed to the successful socialization of Vitalios Khionidis.
